Evan's Birthday-Thank You's
I made Thank You cards to send out to our guests. I thought it would be cute to make a Paper Doll that looked like Evan in his costume. As you can see from the photo, I got pretty close, right down to the crocs. (Really, what Vampire wears crocs?!) I used a larger card, one of the 5 x 6.5", vertically and put the Thank You at the top and the Doll at the bottom. I also made copies of the photo of Evan and put one inside each card. I had a lot of fun making these. My son came into my craftroom while I was working and found a finished one and said, "Mommy! That's ME! Look at my SHOES!" For this card I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge to get the hair, cape, and neck accessory from the Vampire Doll. The white shirt, pants and crocs were from outfits out of the Everyday Paper Doll Cartridge. And the Thank You is off of the Just Because Cards Cartridge (thank goodness for the Jukebox!) I added a little, light blue rhinestone to the neck accessory as my son wore a jeweled piece (from Michael's $4.99) that I'd threaded through a piece of light blue ribbon.
